We’re looking for a talented ‘Digital Marketing Executive’ to join our team.

Hotfoot Design is a multi award-winning creative and digital agency based in the beautiful Grade II Listed Storey building in the centre of historic Lancaster (just down from the train station, right next to Lancaster Castle) with lovely views of the city and a café bar on the ground floor.

As an integrated agency, we offer a broad range of related services all under one roof – including brand strategy and design, marketing campaigns, website design and digital marketing.

We work with growing clients in a range of specialist sectors including hospitality and leisure, luxury retail, health and beauty, advanced manufacturing, professional services, technology, the arts, and the charity and public sector.

Our clients range from iconic brands and large organisations to growing SMEs and start-ups across the UK and beyond, including the NHS, Rolls-Royce, DCC plc, Windermere Jetty and many others.

The role

Your role will be to help communicate what makes our clients special to their target audiences and help optimise performance across a range of marketing channels – from website content through to social media campaigns.

You’ll work closely with our directors and marketing manager (who you will report to), as well as the broader team at Hotfoot, and will have direct client contact.

We’re looking for someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and strong proofreading skills.

You’ll be brilliant at adopting the right tone and getting a message across, whether it’s a Facebook post, email campaign, case study or press release. And you’ll be comfortable creating and posting content across key social media channels. You have experience in running social media ad campaigns, reporting on performance, and are always on top of the latest marketing trends.

We’re looking for someone adaptable that can write a witty campaign that references a viral trend for a lifestyle brand one moment, and a more sober-minded piece for a B2B client the next, without ever forgetting that behind target audiences are real people.

You’ll also be tasked with activities such as setting-up automated emails, creating compelling copy for landing pages, analysing conversion rates, and proactively working to improve and monitor marketing campaign performance.

You’ll be bright, enthusiastic and full of ideas. You will be good at focusing on the task at hand, juggling competing priorities, and producing great quality work.

You’ll be brilliant at thinking on your feet and getting things done. You’re a strong communicator and collaborator, and you’re not afraid to speak up and share your ideas.

Experience working within a design, digital and/or marketing agency will be advantageous.

To help you hit the ground running, we’ll set you up with a beautiful Mac and provide you with the support you need so you feel right at home.
