Sometimes typefaces are so good you could almost lick them. Well now that’s literally true, with the launch of Chocolate Grotesque by Peter Roden:
I decided to revive the font for both use in my personal design identity and also a unique chocolate bar in the style of a letterpress metal type lockup. To produce the bar I had to 3D print it as single piece of resin, then mould it in liquid silicone, before filling it with Rococo chocolate. The wrapper was hand printed from metal plates to achieve the aesthetic of original printing specimens.
