Hotfoot Forge ahead with new client win in Preston

Posted on by

Hotfoot has been appointed by Forge Logistics, following a competitive pitch, to design and develop its new website to support its rapid growth.

Commercial trucking, haulage and courier services company, Forge Logistics, has grown from a fleet of five courier vans to over 80 vehicles in less than 20 months, having already won contracts with some of the UK’s largest e-commerce and delivery companies.

Founded by former Army Air Corps servicemen, Jamie Keen and James Rose-Shaw, the pair started Preston-based Forge Logistics in 2018 and now has 83 vehicles, including HGVs, out delivering on contracts across the UK.

Lancaster based Hotfoot Design, run by partners Charlie Haywood, Aidan Watt and Guy Cookson, has been chosen to deliver a new website that will support Forge’s exceptional growth as they move forward into year two of the business.

Forge Logistics managing director Jamie Keen said: “The speed at which Forge grew during the first 18 months took James and I by surprise, and that is testament to all the hard work of the Forge team. And over the last few months – powered by the rise in online shopping due to Covid-19 – our team has been working even harder to meet the exceptional demand for our services.”

James Rose-Shaw, managing director of Forge Logistics, continued: “Moving into our second year in business, we now need to focus our efforts on improving and growing our digital presence to better communicate what our company has to offer. We absolutely love Hotfoot’s work for other clients, and their standard of work and experience in B2B and our sector really stood out. We can’t wait to see what Hotfoot does for Forge.”

Charlie Haywood, creative director at Hotfoot, said: “We’re tremendously excited to have been chosen by Forge Logistics and to work alongside them to create the company’s new website. Forge’s ambition is inspiring, and our team will be dedicated to supporting its growth by doing what we do best, which is creating work that clearly communicates a client’s expertise, builds trust and adds credibility to its offering.”

“The last few months have been challenging for everyone in different ways, but there are still great opportunities out there and we are beyond delighted to be working with a roster of brilliant clients that are continuing to invest in design, digital and marketing to support their growth.”

Hotfoot adds Forge to a series of new client wins in recent weeks, including the University of Warwick, civil engineering manufacturers W&B, Morecambe Bay Foodbank and luxury, sustainable bamboo bedding company Lune Living.

The creative agency is now looking to hire a new developer to support its new projects, as well as work for existing clients such as Lancaster University, Greystone Gill Distillery, Lancaster Brewery, The Dukes, Brades Farm, Leonard Dews and Windermere Jetty.
