We’re excited to share that we’ve been shortlisted for Not-for-Profit Campaign of the Year at the Prolific North Champions Awards.
The recognition celebrates our work on Healthy Hearts – We Are Undefeatable, a powerful, place-based campaign delivered across Lancashire in partnership with Together an Active Future.
Healthy Hearts is part of the national We Are Undefeatable movement, supporting people living with long-term health conditions to become more active in ways that work for them. Locally, the campaign focuses on one of Lancashire’s most pressing health challenges, cardiovascular disease, helping people take small, achievable steps towards better heart health, whether that’s walking more, joining a local activity, or building movement into everyday life.
Our role was to bring that ambition to life in a way that felt meaningful, relatable and impossible to ignore.
From the outset, we knew this couldn’t feel like a typical public health campaign. Instead of relying on statistics or abstract messaging, we focused on real people with real stories. People across Lancashire living with heart conditions who had found their own way to move more, rebuild confidence and improve their wellbeing.
Their experiences became the heart of the campaign.
This storytelling-led approach was a deliberate strategic choice. The campaign needed to reach communities facing the greatest health inequalities, where traditional health messaging often struggles to cut through. By using authentic voices, human photography and simple, empathetic messaging, we created something that felt accessible, supportive and achievable.
Healthy Hearts was delivered as a fully integrated, multi-channel campaign across print, digital, social and community spaces. We combined bold, highly visible creative with practical tools such as QR-enabled print materials, making it easy for people to access further support and local services. Alongside this, the campaign mobilised a wide network of partners including local authorities, healthcare providers and community organisations, amplifying its reach and ensuring consistency across the county.
The result was a campaign designed not just to raise awareness, but to encourage real behaviour change, helping people re-engage with physical activity in a way that felt manageable and relevant to their lives.
Healthy Hearts is a true example of partnership working at its best. Delivered with Together an Active Future, Lancashire County Council, the Integrated Care Board and supported by organisations including the British Heart Foundation, it represents a collective effort to tackle health inequality at scale.
Being shortlisted for this award recognises not just the creative work, but what can be achieved when strategy, storytelling and collaboration come together with a clear purpose.
We’re incredibly proud of the impact Healthy Hearts has had across Lancashire and delighted to see it recognised by Prolific North.
