We had fun walking up a mountain together yesterday and then heading to the pub to toast Hotfoot’s 20th birthday.
In the years since launching we’ve moved into ever more spacious studios, built a team of ever more talented people, and tackled ever more exciting creative and technical briefs from some of the world’s most brilliant brands.
As Hotfoot’s founder and creative director Charlie Haywood says:
We had a great day out in Ambleside yesterday for a Hottie team jolly. Hilariously, what was described as “not particularly strenuous, with much of the route being relatively flat” turned out to be a seven mile scramble and hike up Loughrigg Fell that tested the fitness of much of the team! Thankfully, the reward was a pub lunch by the side of the lake and a few well earned drinks.
Our jaunt also happened to coincide with twenty years since Hotfoot began, which sounds utterly, utterly crazy.
What started as just me working from my spare room has grown into an amazing team of brand and digital specialists who are passionate about the quality of their work and genuinely care about the success of our clients. We’ve been lucky enough to work with some fantastic organisations over the years, including Rolls-Royce, St John International, Age UK and, more recently, Ordnance Survey and Wikimedia.
I couldn’t have done any of this without Aidan and Guy, whose partnership, friendship and commitment have helped shape Hotfoot into the business it is today.
A huge thank you to everyone who’s been part of the journey and silly antics over the last twenty years. May it continue!
