Kathryn works with our brilliant clients to support their growth. Kathryn has previously worked in marketing roles at Lancaster University and Jonesco.
Kathryn has a first class honours degree in marketing from Newcastle University and during her studies spent time working in industry for a firm in Amsterdam. She grew up in Lancaster and attended the Girls’ Grammar School.
First job?
My first job was working at a children’s play centre, which was just as noisy and chaotic as you would expect.
Favourite holiday?
My favourite holiday so far is definitely a road trip I went on around Scotland. We didn’t really make any plans and just went with the flow, which led to some fun experiences. We often didn't know where we were going to stay each night - which meant braving the rain and camping in a tent a few times!
Favourite books?
I’m a big fan of non-fiction and the books I always recommend are ‘Quiet’ by Susan Cain and ‘Talking to Strangers’ by Malcom Gladwell. For fiction, I can’t choose a favourite! I change my mind with every new book I read.
Favourite TV shows?
My recent favourite show has been Better Called Saul, but if I fancy an easy watch, my go-to is always The Office US.
Favourite passtime?
In my spare time I enjoy going to yoga classes, strength training and walking in the Lakes, although I’m admittedly a fair weather walker which means I don’t go as often as I should!
Favourite apps?
YouTube, Spotify for listening to podcasts and I’m obsessed with checking the weather app (spoiler - it’s always showing rain).
