First job?
During sixth form, I worked as a caterer at Tranmere Rovers Football Club on match days. It helped pay for nights out in Liverpool with my friends.
Favourite football team?
The current champions, Liverpool F.C. Everything gets put on hold when Liverpool are playing, and I never miss a match, even when I have been on holiday. I have always found a place to watch Liverpool. The best match I have been to would have to be Liverpool vs Norwich City on 4 December 2013, a six-goal thriller featuring what was arguably Luis Suárez’s best performance in a red shirt. He scored four goals, three of which were pure class.
What's something most people don’t know about you?
I grew up in Saudi Arabia, moving there when I was four and returning to the UK at ten. It was a fantastic experience, and a place that not many people from the UK have had the opportunity to experience. It truly holds a special place in my heart.
Favourite way to spend a weekend?
Watching Liverpool, obviously, although the result can make or break a weekend. Aside from that, I enjoy spending time with friends, regardless of what we are doing. This usually includes hiking, eating at cafés or restaurants, browsing charity shops, having a drink in the pub, or heading off on other side quests. When I am on my own, my favourite things to do include flying my drone when the weather is good enough, watching TV, and reading.
Favourite holiday destination?
Egypt. I went to Sharm El Sheikh for the first time last year. The culture, weather, and people remind me of my childhood. Quad biking in the desert, swimming with dolphins, and scuba diving made it an unforgettable trip, so much so that I am going back twice this year.
What's the best advice you've ever been given?
A difficult question, as there is a lot of advice that has shaped who I am, but “work hard, play hard” has always stuck with me. It is such a simple philosophy, but an important reminder that dedication and a strong work ethic really matter, while also making sure you take time to enjoy your personal life. For me, it helps keep everything balanced. You play hard when you have worked hard, it becomes a reward system that keeps me focused, motivated, and always striving to better myself.
Most treasured possession?
My AirPods. Being able to disconnect from the world is priceless to me. Whether I am working, travelling, or just taking a moment for myself, they help me focus, reset, and block out distractions. Having that space to switch off is really important to me.
