When I was a teenager, I got a job clearing the tables at Boswells Cafe in Newport, South Wales. I worked there until I moved to Lancaster in 2013 - I still pop in every now and again for a brew when I’m in the area.
Most treasured possession?
My most treasured possession would have to be Joshua, my hamster. An unfortunate incident in his younger days has lead to him only having one eye, but I think he takes it in his stride.
Tell us something we don’t know about you...
There was a time in my life where I hadn’t missed an episode of EastEnders for over 6 years. I absolutely loved it. I’ve stopped watching it now, although I always seem to know what the current storylines are. I’m also a bit of a Britney Spears superfan and I’m going to see her live in a few months… something to tick off the bucket list!
Favourite holiday destination?
What did you want to be when growing up?
It changed a lot over the years, but I vividly remember wanting to be a marine biologist or a midwife. I soon found out that I hate being in water and faint at the sight of blood it’s safe to say that these career paths didn’t work out...
As an English graduate, this is always the most difficult question to answer. Of course there’s the classics like The Catcher in the Rye and that definitely is a strong contender as favourite. However, the best book I’ve ever read (not to say it’s my absolute favourite, though!) is Stephen King’s Dr. Sleep.
If you won the lottery what's the first thing you'd buy?
A house. Preferably close to Lancaster canal.
